The Action Research Focus is to explore the perceptions of teachers who have implemented ability grouping during literacy lesson for junior students, and who will articulate any implications these expereinces may have for student literacy outcomes in particular for ESL and 'at-risk' students, as well as the teacher and the profession as a whole.
